DOUG COLLINS, MARQUES JOHNSON, KERMIT WASHINGTON, ADRIAN DANTLEY, BOB LANIER, BOBBY JONES, BILLY KNIGHT, SIDNEY WICKS, MITCH KUPCHAK, AND KEVIN GREVEY.
A sniper and free-throw specialist on the basketball court for Golden State Warriors, Rick Barry was also employed by adidas, where he helped to develop the adidas Top Ten in 1979. He didn't belong to the NBA's top ten players in the early 1980s, but Barry seemed smart enough to work on a project like that and to convince the toughest critics, the eponymous top ten players of the NBA. What helped was the fact that basketball shoes of that time usually had to be broken in before they were ready for the court. This was not the case with the adidas Top Ten, which was immediately comfortable to play in. After a few tests, all of the aforementioned players were convinced of the comfort and technology and so gave it their hallmark. The shoe went into production until 1983 and it can safely be said that the Top Ten revolutionized the game of basketball worldwide.
